04: DTA: Delayed Teen Angst
Remember the days of summer, when there was nothing to do but play video games with your friends? This is a tale of life long friends, and an uncontrollable storm that threatens to unravel their bonds. Perhaps I was a little over dramatic, but season one of DTA: Delayed Teen Angst has that vibe.
The series starts with Lionel (Tristan Scott) and his life long friend Damian (Fernando Noor) playing a video game. Evie (Amy Vorpahl), Lionel’s sister, enters the room… One can only imagine what happens next, but it would not be as entertaining as watching the story play out. Which is why this is on my list of web series to watch!
For me this had a 70’s feel to it. While clearly in the present. Imagine what the world would be like if Playstation 2 existed in the 70’s… But I digress. Truly liked the style in which this was shot and enjoyed the acting. The dialog and monologues were smart and funny. Definitely, well worth watching.
